This painting represents a sorrowful experience I got in a festive moment in Bengal. A poor street hawker was selling some balloons and toys to children on a busy footpath. Suddenly, a police appeared on that spot and beat him because he was on a busy road. That hawker went away from that spot slowly. It was his fault that he just wanted to make some rupees in that festive time by standing on a roadside. Was it really a fault?
